There is also a police officer chasing someone, showing problems with immigration. The cartoon is saying that while leaders talk about other countries, they are ignoring problems at home. The artist wants people to question this and think more about what is really happening in the U.S.

  Prompt Response:   One dream that felt real to me was my traveling adventure. I remember dreaming that I was exploring the world. I started at a pretty beach. I was playing in the water. It felt cool. Then, I was on a tall mountain. I walked near the edge. I slipped and fell. I felt myself fall off my bed. I woke up fast. The fall made the dream feel so real. Prompt Response:   As the first semester comes to an end, I can honestly say I’ve grown a lot in this class. What I enjoyed most was getting to read different types of poems and discussions about new things related to the real worlds. The assignment I found most engaging was the cultural Mask projects because they helped me express my thoughts, become more confident in my ethnicity and get to know all my classmates more. I connected the most with the poems analyzing and writing bloggers since I liked analyzing characters. Moving into the spring semester, I think I need to work on improving my grammar and writing essays and thesis so my writing can be clearer and stronger.
