When you are in a mood that you do not like, what are some strategies that you use to change your mood?

Prompt Response: When I am in a mood that I do not like, I try to pause and take a few deep breaths. I remind myself that the feeling will not last forever. I like to listen to music to calm myself down. Sometimes I talk to someone I trust about how I feel. Other times, I distract myself by doing something I enjoy, like watching a show or working on a hobby. These small actions usually help my mood improve.

Summary: Today in class I worked on common Lit.

Reflection: I learned about two new stories.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

As you grow older and face new experiences, what issue or topic do you think you'll have to stand up and debate most often, whether with friends, family, or society?
