 Prompt Response: One time in JROTC, I had to step out of my comfort zone. We were on flag detail when an important officer arrived. Everyone felt nervous. But I stepped forward to command the flag detail. It was a big responsibility. I took a deep breath and then I gave the commands. After it was all done, I felt really proud of myself. It showed me that I could actually do things I didn't think were possible for me.

Summary: Today in class we learn and read about  a story in writing writable.

Reflection: I learn about how to think and provide evidence for a claim.

I think this is important because it affects people’s confidence and how they see themselves. It shows that the way society defines beauty can be unrealistic and harmful. Prompt Response: Our group made sure everyone was involved by talking together in class and checking in often. We split the work so each person had something to do, like finding sources or writing a part. We made sure everyone understood their job. While working, we would ask each other how it was going and help if someone was confused. If someone was falling behind, we would remind them in a respectful way. This helped us stay on track and made sure everyone did their part. Summary: Today in class we work on gathering evidence from our sources. Reflection: I learned team work is dream work.
