Write about a truth you were afraid to accept.

Prompt Response: I was most afraid to accept that failure is a normal part of life. I always wanted to be perfect. I thought making mistakes meant I wasn't good enough. This fear stopped me from trying new things. It was hard to always worry about what others thought. Now, I know that learning from mistakes helps me grow.

Summary: Today in class we learn what argument, ethos, pathos and logos.

Reflection: I learn about how to argue properly and more about ethos, pathos and logos.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.
