What is the most creative thing you have ever made? Share what it was and explain why it stands out as your best work.

Prompt Response: I made a cake for my sister’s birthday. It was the most creative thing I’ve done because I designed everything myself. It took me three days to finish because I was experimenting with new designs. The cake looked amazing and everyone loved how it tasted. This was my first attempt at a complicated decorating style. I felt really happy when I saw others enjoying my work. It taught me that patience and creativity can create something wonderful.

Summary: Today in class we finished writing our own myth.

Reflection: I learned how to use Adobe express.

As you gathered sources, you were expected to find multiple perspectives on your topic. What differences did you notice between your sources? Explain how these differences helped you better understand the complexity of your issue.

Prompt Response: When I was gathering sources, I started to notice that not everyone agreed on the topic. Some sources made cosmetic surgery sound like a good thing, saying it can help people feel more confident and happier with how they look. But other sources focused more on the downsides, like how it can affect mental health or make people feel like they have to look perfect. Some articles shared real people’s experiences, while others used facts and studies. Seeing these different points of view made me realize the topic is more complicated than I first thought. It helped me understand that cosmetic surgery can have both positive and negative effects, and it really depends on the person and their situation. Summary: Today in class we work on our projects.  Reflection: I learned a new way to research for projects.

Reflect on your research topic and identify the most compelling issue connected to it. Clearly explain what the issue is and discuss why you find it particularly interesting or important. Support your response with specific details from your research.

Prompt Response: One issue that stood out to me is the pressure to look perfect, mostly because of social media and beauty standards. People are always seeing edited pictures and “ideal” bodies, which can make them feel bad about how they look. Because of this, some turn to cosmetic surgery or weight-loss drugs, even though they can have risks and don’t always make people happier. I think this is important because it affects people’s confidence and how they see themselves. It shows that the way society defines beauty can be unrealistic and harmful. Summary: Today in class we work on our projects.  Reflection: I learned how to gather all the information for the projects.

What strategies have you and your group used to ensure that all members are actively contributing to group assignments? Explain how you communicate, divide responsibilities, and hold each other accountable throughout the process.

Prompt Response: Our group made sure everyone was involved by talking together in class and checking in often. We split the work so each person had something to do, like finding sources or writing a part. We made sure everyone understood their job. While working, we would ask each other how it was going and help if someone was confused. If someone was falling behind, we would remind them in a respectful way. This helped us stay on track and made sure everyone did their part. Summary: Today in class we work on gathering evidence from our sources. Reflection: I learned team work is dream work.
