Dickinson uses the metaphor of a funeral to describe her inner struggles. What metaphor would you use to describe your own mind?

Prompt Response: If I had to choose a metaphor for my mind, I would say it is like a busy city. There are many different things happening at once, like cars, people, and sounds. Sometimes, I feel overwhelmed, like traffic jams blocking the roads. Other times, it's exciting, like parts of the city coming alive at night. Overall, my mind is a lively and constantly changing place.

Summary: Today in class we did tree Lit com assignment and blog.
Reflection: I learn about new stories.

Write about a dream that felt real.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

As you grow older and face new experiences, what issue or topic do you think you'll have to stand up and debate most often, whether with friends, family, or society?
